Reading
Happily, my love for reading seems to have been rekindled. This is what I put my reading glasses on for these days:
- „Die verdrängte Pandemie“, a collection of perspectives from the left on the ongoing revisionism concerning SARS-Cov-2.
- lots of Emmerdale short stories.
Listening
- „Gegenmacht“ by Arne Semsrott on Bookbeat. I am considering cancelling my subscription to this app. But there are still a few audiobooks on my list and this one is good for the soul. It explains what civil society can do to push back against newly elected antidemocratic parties.
- I have been riding the Tekkno Train for a while now. Even though I am everything but interested in Techno as such, but Electric Callboy have managed to charm me with their fun costumes and lack of respect for genre boundaries.
Watching
- Going through our „Deep Space 9“ box sets and being sad about DVDs not being made to last for an eternity. There is a lot of stopping and skipping and cursing included. Even so, Star TRek always gets me nostalgic and Nog is the best Ferengi ever.
Now Working On
- getting back into tutoring after my two weeks of mostly enjoying the autumn holidays.
- getting back into blogging, I seem to have lost my mojo a bit.
