This is a now page, inspired by Derek Sivers. If you have a blog or website, you might want to consider keeping a now page as well. Here’s how and why.

Happily, my love for reading seems to have been rekindled. This is what I put my reading glasses on for these days:

über mich: photo von einer Teekanne in Tardisform, davor eine Dalekfigur
  • „Science of Discworld“ IV by Terry Pratchett et al.
  • the August short stories at deadlinesforwriters
  • our DVD collection of New Who, currently at Eleven and realising how bleak his seasons were in part
  • my various YouTube watchlists with the literally hundreds of videos I used to save „for later“
  • Still loving the videos by @hairforhumans. I had a few frustrating experiences myself, so seeing him ask all those thought questions before cutting into peoples hair and giving them what they want not he would prefer is so wholesome 🙂
  • adding alt-text to previous blog posts where it’s still missing
  • blogging more and more regularly in English
  • checking and reparing broken links on my webpage
  • enjoying the summer holidays
  • watching my ToDo-list melt away while racking up experience points in Habitica
  • working on my nutrition with the August Habitica challenge
  • getting to the bottom of my Long-COVID fatigue
  • shifting all the chopped of branches and other organic material from our garden into a dead hedge
  • testing all the open air swimming pools in the area
  • upping up my French lessons on Duolingo to be able to follow this fascinating youtube channel called Mathémusique
