This is a now page, inspired by Derek Sivers. If you have a blog or website, you might want to consider keeping a now page as well. Here’s how and why to have a now page.
Reading
Happily, my love for reading seems to have been rekindled. This is what I put my reading glasses on for these days:
- „Science of Discworld“ IV by Terry Pratchett et al.
- my backlog of short stories at deadlinesforwriters
Listening
- „Saving Us“ by Katherine Hayhoe on Bookbeat
- Yugen Blakrok
- „Good Boy“ (YouTube) by Paris Paloma
- lots of podcasts including „What’s Her Name?“ by Katie Nelson and Olivia Meikle
- all the concerts that I did not get around to see in Wacken, thanks to Magenta
Watching
- „Andor“ Season 1, again, to prepare for Season 2
- my various YouTube watchlists with the literally hundreds of videos I used to save „for later“
- Still loving the videos by @hairforhumans. I had a few frustrating experiences myself, so seeing him ask all those thought questions before cutting into peoples hair and giving them what they want not he would prefer is so wholesome 🙂
Now Working On
- improving the accessibility of my webpage, even though I’m not required to, legally.
- blogging more and more regularly in English
- checking and reparing broken links on my webpage, there are so many, still at it
- enjoying a full but not overfull timetable with my students
- learning WordPress properly
Now Doing
- watching my ToDo-list melt away while racking up experience points in Habitica
- upping up my French lessons on Duolingo to be able to follow this fascinating YouTube channel called Mathémusique
- also now doing the Chess and Latin courses on Duolingo, somebody help me
- drawing a Zentangle each day for Inktober 25
