This is a now page, inspired by Derek Sivers. If you have a blog or website, you might want to consider keeping a now page as well. Here’s how and why.

Happily, my love for reading seems to have been rekindled. This is what I put my reading glasses on for these days:

  • „The long Earth“ by Terry Pratchett and Stephen Baxter
  • „Science of Discworld“ III and IV by Terry Pratchett et al.
  • our DVD collection of New Who, currently at Ten with his last episodes
  • my various YouTube watchlists with the literally hundreds of videos I used to save „for later“
  • loving the haircutting videos the algorithm decided I should be interested in, so very wholesome!
  • adding alt-text to previous blog posts where it’s still missing
  • sorting through my chaotic stack of maths work sheets
  • blogging more and more regularly in English
  • watching my ToDo-list melt away while racking up experience points in Habitica
  • working on taking breaks with a Habitica challenge
  • getting to the bottom of my Long-COVID fatigue
  • waiting impatiently for my tomato plants to bear fruit
  • sharing my blog posts via the ActivityPub plugin:

my Habitica avatar as it appears right now, a person on the beach with a lighthouse in the backgronnd. The person is wearing a backwards cap, a doublesided axe and a shining yellow shield, also she has a wreath of yellow light shining around her. In front is a rainbow-coloured wolf. The entire picture is old-school pixellated
